A true ranch pony he has seen many miles outside. Phil has a good handle and is safe. He’s roped and branded lots of calves as well as tended to sheep. Lil Phil is familiar with big white dogs and border collies. Phil has seen more hours under saddle than most cowboys have ridden. Phil will walk over, under, or through anything, just point and go! He has a good, paced walk and will keep up or walk slow. Lil Phil is also experienced in the arena and is well trained. He will take his leads and collect like one should. Lil Phil has a good stop and is not going to push on the bridle. Our son has loped him around the barrels, practiced the flag race and is making a good goat horse. We have ridden him down the road where he is traffic safe. He will lead the group or is happy following.
