Jurand  ist ein 11jähriger in Polen gezogener Kaltblutwallach und wird bei uns in der Verhaltens- und Reittherapie eingesetzt. Er ist kontaktfreudig und geht auf alle Menschen zu. In der Herde ist er ranghoch. Jury ist nervenstark und gelehrig. Er lernt allerdings auch Dinge, die er nicht können muss (kann Türriegel öffnen...). Aufgrund seiner massigen Erscheinung wirkt er eindrucksvoll. Er hat Umgang mit vielen Menschen und nutzt "Autoritätslücken" zu seinem Vorteil (Stehenbleiben, Fressen oder Richtung Weide abbiegen). Hier braucht er einen erfahrenen Pferdemenschen, der solche Extravaganzen vorhersehen kann und gegensteuert.
Dafür bleibt er aber auch zuverlässig stehen, wenn ein ungeübter Reiter unsicher sitzt und wartet ab, bis es weitergehen kann. Trotz seiner kräftigen Statur kann er  auf beiden Händen galoppieren und hat gelernt auf feine Zeichen zu reagieren.
Er hat bei uns ein mittelgradiges Sommerekzem entwickelt. Weitere gesundheitliche Einschränkungen hat er nicht.

Within the herd, he holds a high ranking. Jurand is calm under pressure and eager to learn. He also picks up on things he doesn’t necessarily need to know (e.g., opening gate latches...). Verder zijn er geen andere gezondheidsbeperkingen.

Jurand to 11-letni ogier rasy koni zimnokrwistych, wyhodowany w Polsce, wykorzystywany u nas w terapii zachowania i jazdy konnej. Jest otwarty na kontakt i chętnie podchodzi do wszystkich ludzi. W stadzie zajmuje wysoką pozycję. Jurand jest opanowany i chętny do nauki. Potrafi również opanować rzeczy, które nie są mu konieczne (np. otwieranie drzwi z zatrzaskiem...). Ze względu na swoją masywną budowę wygląda imponująco. Ma kontakt z wieloma osobami i potrafi wykorzystać „luki w autorytecie” (np. zatrzymanie, jedzenie lub skręt w kierunku pastwiska). W takich sytuacjach potrzebuje doświadczonego jeźdźca, który przewidzi takie zachowania i odpowiednio zareaguje. 

Jednak jest też na tyle stabilny, że zatrzyma się, jeśli mniej doświadczony jeździec będzie niepewnie siedział i poczeka, aż będzie można kontynuować. Pomimo swojej silnej budowy potrafi galopować na obu rękach i nauczył się reagować na delikatne sygnały. U nas rozwinął umiarkowaną postać atopowego zapalenia skóry (sommerekzem). Nie ma innych problemów zdrowotnych.
