Merlin ist ein großer, braver Wallach, der ein angenehmes Reitgefühl vermittelt. Für unseren eher auf Anfänger ausgelegten Schulbetrieb hat er eine etwas zu große Galoppade, darum geben wir ihn ab. Er kann kleine Sprünge machen, dies macht er sehr brav, allerdings sollte er nicht zu oft gesprungen werden, da er früher mal eine Verletzung hatte, die aber aktuell vollständig auskuriert ist. Merlin kennt Paddock und Weide und steht bei uns in einer Paddockbox. Er verträgt sich sehr gut mit seinen Nachbarn. Im Gelände ist er brav und auch sonst unerschrocken, er lässt sich longieren und auch mit Ausbindern reiten.
