💥 MAX 💥 The Kind of Pony Everyone Is Looking For
Max is one of those ponies that catches your eye from across the arena, but it’s his kind heart and willing attitude that really make him special. He’s an 8-year-old grade gelding standing around 11 hands tall. He may be small, but he has the heart, grit, and try of a much bigger horse.
Max has ben used for everything from trail riding and arena work to ranch chores and lessons, and he’s always been the same dependable little guy. He’s been ridden all over South Mountain, through the neighborhood, and down the trail both by himself and with other horses. He’ll cross whatever you point him at, hop over logs, open gates, and is comfortable with a rope being swung or thrown from his back.
In the arena, Max has a solid foundation with a smooth walk, trot, lope, stop, and backup. He has a really nice handle, moves off your leg, and even has a smooth, correct spin that would make any reining horse fan smile. He’ll move out when you ask him to but never give you any funny business!
Around the barn, Max is as easy as they come. He ties quietly, loads and hauls great, unloads without a fuss, stands for the farrier, bathes, and picks up all four feet with no issues. He’s the kind of pony that’s enjoyable to have around every single day.
What makes Max even more special is the story behind him. He’s been brought along with a lot of time, patience, and heart by a 10-year-old cowboy who has poured countless hours, effort, and love into making him the pony he is today.
