Outback is a big, stout, goofy draft cross gelding standing 16.2 hands tall. He is Mr. Personality, with the laid-back, sweet draft demeanor that everyone loves. He is gentle, kind, and quite the character.
Outback is started in all directions: Western, English, Driving, trail riding, arena work, etc. He is very good-minded and willing in everything he does and takes new things in stride. He will meet you at the gate and absolutely loves human attention. Outback wants to please and has never offered to buck or do anything naughty.
Outback is great out on the trails. He absolutely LOVES water and would love to take anyone swimming or splashing. He can go all day, is perky-eared, and really seems to enjoy exploring. He will go out alone, lead the pack, or follow behind. He will cross anything you ask him to.
In the arena, Outback rides both English and Western. He has smooth and easy gaits. He is learning to lope off with a kiss and has a great stop with the word "whoa." We have taken him over fences once, and he took to it smoothly and easily. We could definitely see this guy going on to make a fox hunter.
Outback is used to dogs, kids, side-by-sides, 4-wheelers, traffic, etc. He stalls quietly and is great turned out as well. He is easy to catch and good with his feet, baths, hauling, etc. He is currently barefoot, straight/clean-legged, sound, and UTD. He sells with a current PPE (see photos for documentation).
