Schweren Herzens müssen wir uns von unserem Fjordwallach Masou trennen. Dieser Schritt fällt uns nicht leicht, doch aus persönlichen Gründen geben wir unsere private Pferdehaltung komplett auf. Masou haben wir direkt als Fohlen beim Züchter gekauft. Er stand zunächst zwei Jahre auf der Aufzuchtweide und kam danach zu uns, seither begleitet er unsere Familie und hat sich zu einem treuen, menschenbezogenen jungen Pferd entwickelt. Über Masou: Geboren: 07.05.2022 Stockmaß aktuell: ca. 1,47 m Farbe: Graufalbe Rasse: Norweger / Fjordpferd Züchter: Burkhard & Katharina Neuß GbR (fjordhof-neuss.de) Vater: Prämienhengst Marlon (DE443435201811) Charakter & Alltag: Masou ist sehr lieb, menschenbezogen und neugierig. Typisch Pony kann er manchmal einen kleinen Dickkopf zeigen. Er wurde für knapp zwei Monate im Beritt ausgebildet wo folgendes geübt wurde: Freiarbeit (Wegschicken, Folgen) „Falling Leaves“ – Handwechsel am Bodenseil Gelassenheitstraining: Planen, Matratzen, Flatterbänder, Wippe, Podest, Raschelsack Longieren auf beiden Händen im Schritt, Trab, Galopp, Anhalten, Richtungswechsel, über Stangen, Abstände variabel Doppellonge & klassische Handarbeit im Schritt Aufsatteln & ruhiges Stehen beim Aufsteigen Verlassen des Hofes Mit entsprechendem Training kann aus Masou, wie bei unserem anderen Pferd Minero, ein verlässliches Freizeit- und Geländepferd werden. Gesundheit & Pflege: Regelmäßige Tetanus- und Influenza-Impfungen (nächste Tetanus-Impfung im Januar 2026) Entwurmung alle drei Monate (zuletzt am 30.11.2025) Offenstallhaltung mit Sandpaddock und 24/7 Heu (seit vier Wochen bauen wir Fresspausen ein, da er durch die wenige Bewegung etwas kräftig geworden ist). Er ist kerngesund! Er zeigt ebenfalls keinerlei Unarten, ist immer kooperativ beim Schmied und Tierarzt und geht auch in den Anhänger. Besonderheiten / Wünsche: Wir suchen ein liebevolles Zuhause, kein Verkauf an Händler oder Reitschulen. Es wäre schön, wenn wir Masou gelegentlich besuchen dürfen, da er ein Teil unserer Familie ist. Masou ist ein herzensguter junger Fjordwallach, ideal für Menschen, die ihn weiter fördern und zu einem zuverlässigen Freizeit- und Geländepferd ausbilden möchten. With a heavy heart, we must part ways with our Fjord gelding Masou. This decision was not easy for us, but due to personal reasons, we are closing our private horsekeeping entirely. We purchased Masou directly from the breeder as a foal. Like many ponies, he can sometimes show a bit of stubbornness. He received nearly two months of training, during which the following was worked on: - Liberty work (leading, following) - "Falling Leaves" – hand changes at the longe line - Desensitization training: tarps, mats, flutter tapes, wippies, step stool, rattling bag - Lunging on both reins in walk, trot, canter, stopping, changing directions, over poles, with variable distances - Double longe and classical groundwork in walk - Saddling and standing calmly during mounting - Leaving the paddock With appropriate training, Masou, like our other horse Minero, can develop into a reliable leisure and trail riding partner. Health & Care: - Regular tetanus and influenza vaccinations (next tetanus shot due January 2026) - Dewormed every three months (most recently on November 30, 2025) - Open stable management with sand paddock and 24/7 hay supply (we have recently introduced grazing breaks, as he has gained some weight due to limited movement) - He is in excellent health! He also shows no bad habits, is always cooperative with the farrier and veterinarian, and loads calmly into a trailer. Special Requests / Wishes: We are looking for a loving home, not for sale to dealers or riding schools. It would be wonderful if we could visit Masou occasionally, as he is a part of our family. Masou is a kind-hearted young Fjord gelding, ideal for owners who wish to continue his development into a dependable leisure and trail riding horse.
