Kasztelan has a gentle character, but he possesses the drive, speed, and spirit of an athlete. His eye for obstacles and stable jumps will assist the rider in learning to jump and gaining confidence in the saddle. This horse is not suitable for a green beginner; he requires solid dressage basics, including a stable seat and a friendly hand. In jumping, Kasztelan is eager to learn everything! He is brave, never refuses jumps, and does not buck. A rider's poor eye for obstacles does not deter him; he is happy to assist with take-offs.

Kasztelan is perfectly suited for ambitious recreational riding and amateur sports.

Pedigree:
• Father: Orlando van de Heffinck KWPN / Heartbreaker / Darco. A world-class stallion competing at the highest level in show jumping.
• Mother: by Makart, who has participated multiple times in show jumping competitions up to the CC class and in puissance events. Makart's sire is Arianin, who competed in the Polish Senior Championships under Mieczysław Zagór.

Training Level:
• In training, Kasztelan easily clears courses of 100/110 cm. He has never competed because his current owner (who has had him since he was three) did not have such needs. However, he adapts well to changes in environment.
• Kasztelan has been in dressage training with Ms. Paulina Martynuska for three years, performing shoulder-in, leg yielding, and transitions in trot and canter. He executes simple changes in canter and half-pirouettes in walk. He will excel in the arena at the N class level.
• Prior to this, he was trained in general and jumping disciplines for six years by an eventing coach.

Health:
• He has X-ray images from 2024 - no issues!
• Last year, the horse suffered a minor interosseous injury (slipped in mud), but he is now fully healed. He has been in consistent dressage and jumping training since January.
• Regularly dewormed every three months, under constant care of a dentist and farrier.
• Current diet is oat-free.
• This gelding has been blind in his right eye since he was a foal (mechanical injury/impact), so it should be noted that he is not suitable for a complete beginner. He may occasionally spook from that side if something suddenly surprises him, as he cannot see it.
• He is currently in full training and is in excellent condition.
