"Cactus is a 4yr old john mule that is very well broke to ride , Cactus has been ridden on lots of trail rides in the mountains and we've had to state parks for trail rides and he did great, he will go through water and over logs wherever you point him,  he loads and trailers great with no problems.  he has also been packed on so he's got experience on several hunting trips,  
Cactus is also super gentle to be around,  he will let you rub his ears and loves to be groomed,  he will meet you at the gate and will stand to be tacked and mount,  nothing seems to phase him he is traffic safe and big farm equipment or loud noises don't bother him 
Cactus has a nice walk-trot-canter and will also ride in the arena,  we've cracked bullwhips and drug tarps on him and he is a solid citizen 
Cactus responds well to leg pressure and will sidepass to open and close gates and started to neckrein
