After careful consideration, I am looking for a new home for my 19-year-old Shetland Pony-Haflinger mix mare. She is ridden and was previously used for leisure riding. However, over the past two years, she has been ridden only very occasionally due to lack of time, and therefore may benefit from some refresher training in certain areas. She is not suitable for a beginner rider. She is very willing to work and learn, gentle, and affectionate. She would be happy to be challenged a bit more again. She is kept with our two other horses year-round in an open stable and on pasture. She is extremely healthy and robust. In her entire 19 years, we have never needed to call a veterinarian for her. She is barefoot. Rehoming only to a truly good home.
