Schweren Herzens müssen wir uns aus gesundheitlichen Gründen von unserem geliebten Isländer trennen. Diese Entscheidung fällt uns alles andere als leicht, weshalb wir uns für ihn ein Zuhause wünschen, in dem er weiterhin liebevoll umsorgt wird und seine wohlverdiente Zeit genießen darf. Über ihn: Unser Isländer ist 19 Jahre alt und seit seinem fünften Lebensjahr bei uns. Damals haben wir ihn übernommen und mit viel Liebe wieder aufgepäppelt. Seitdem ist er ein treuer Begleiter, der uns mit seinem herzensguten Charakter immer wieder begeistert. Er ist ein 5-Gänger mit natürlichem Tölt, wobei ihm der Tölt deutlich mehr liegt als der Trab. Am glücklichsten ist er im Gelände, wo er seine Leidenschaft voll ausleben kann. Ob entspannt durch den Wald tölten oder mit Freude über Wiesen und Felder galoppieren – die gemeinsame Zeit mit seinem Reiter genießt er in vollen Zügen. Charakterlich ist er ein echtes Goldstück. Mit ihm kann man wirklich jeden Blödsinn machen. Er ist ein Pony zum Liebhaben, bei dem die gemeinsame Zeit und das Vertrauen im Vordergrund stehen. Auch den Umgang mit Kindern kennt er. In der Vergangenheit saßen häufig Kinder auf ihm, während wir sie geführt haben. So konnten sie in Begleitung erste Erfahrungen auf seinem Rücken sammeln und die gemeinsame Zeit mit ihm genießen. Das Longieren und die Arbeit im Roundpen kennt er ebenfalls, auch wenn diese Beschäftigung in den vergangenen Jahren eher selten auf dem Programm stand. Gesundheit: Vor etwa zwei Jahren hatte er einen leichten Reheschub. Die anschließende Röntgenkontrolle beim Tierarzt war unauffällig. Seitdem sind uns keine weiteren gesundheitlichen Auffälligkeiten bekannt. Der Tierarzt war ansonsten lediglich zu Routineuntersuchungen bei uns. Aktuell hat er mit Sommerekzem zu tun. Dieses lässt sich mit einer Salbe gut behandeln, und die vorhandenen Wunden sind bereits wieder verheilt. Da sein Winterfell auf manchen Bildern sehr dicht und gelockt erscheint, möchten wir einem möglichen Verdacht auf Cushing direkt vorbeugen: Ein tierärztlicher Test war negativ. Die auffällige Fellstruktur zeigt sich bei ihm ausschließlich im Winter; im Sommer verschwindet sie vollständig. Den regelmäßigen Besuch des Hufschmieds kennt er und verhält sich dabei stets artig. Zubehör inklusive: Er wird zusammen mit seinem vorhandenen Zubehör abgegeben. Dazu gehören unter anderem Sattel, Trensen, Halfter und weiteres Equipment. Das Zubehör ist bereits im Kaufpreis enthalten. Unser Wunsch für ihn: Wir wünschen uns für diesen besonderen Kerl ein liebevolles Zuhause bei Menschen, die seinen tollen Charakter zu schätzen wissen und ihm weiterhin schöne gemeinsame Stunden ermöglichen. Er ist ein echtes Geländepony, das Freude an Bewegung und an der Zeit mit seinem Menschen hat und trotz seines Alters immer noch flott und motiviert unterwegs ist. With a heavy heart, we have to part with our beloved Icelandic horse for health reasons. This decision is anything but easy for us, which is why we are looking for a home where he will continue to be lovingly cared for and can enjoy the time he so richly deserves. **About him:** Our Icelandic horse is 19 years old and has been with us since he was five. We took him on at the time and lovingly nursed him back to health. Since then, he has been a loyal companion who continues to delight us with his exceptionally kind nature. In the past, children often sat on him while we led him. This allowed them to gain their first experiences on horseback under supervision and enjoy spending time with him. He is also familiar with lunging and working in a round pen, although these activities have been less frequently on the agenda in recent years. **Health:** Around two years ago, he had a mild bout of laminitis. The subsequent X-ray examination by the vet was unremarkable. Since then, we have not noticed any further health issues. Apart from that, the vet has only visited us for routine examinations. He is currently dealing with sweet itch. This can be treated well with an ointment, and the existing wounds have already healed. As his winter coat appears very thick and curly in some pictures, we would like to address any possible suspicion of Cushing’s disease straight away: a veterinary test was negative. This unusual coat structure only occurs in winter and disappears completely during the summer. He is used to regular visits from the farrier and always behaves impeccably. **Tack and equipment included:** He will be sold together with his existing tack and equipment. This includes, among other things, a saddle, bridles, halters and further equipment. Everything is already included in the purchase price. **Our hopes for him:** For this special boy, we are looking for a loving home with people who appreciate his wonderful character and will continue to give him many happy hours together. Nous souhaitons donc pour lui un foyer où il continuera à être entouré d’affection et pourra profiter pleinement du temps qu’il mérite. **À son sujet :** Notre Islandais a 19 ans et vit chez nous depuis l’âge de cinq ans. À l’époque, nous l’avons accueilli et remis en état avec beaucoup d’amour. Depuis, il est un compagnon fidèle qui nous séduit toujours par son excellent caractère. C’est un cheval islandais à cinq allures, avec un tölt naturel, le tölt lui convenant nettement mieux que le trot. Il est le plus heureux en extérieur, où il peut pleinement vivre sa passion. Qu’il s’agisse de tölter tranquillement en forêt ou de galoper avec enthousiasme à travers les prés et les champs, il profite pleinement du temps passé avec son cavalier. Destijds hebben wij hem overgenomen en met veel liefde weer opgebouwd. Sindsdien is hij een trouwe metgezel die ons met zijn zachtaardige karakter steeds weer weet te enthousiasmeren. Hij is een vijfganger met een natuurlijke tölt, waarbij de tölt hem duidelijk beter ligt dan de draf. Het gelukkigst is hij buiten, waar hij zijn passie volledig kan uitleven. Of hij nu ontspannen door het bos tölt of met plezier over weiden en velden galoppeert – hij geniet volop van de tijd samen met zijn ruiter. Qua karakter is hij een echte lieverd. Met hem kun je werkelijk iedere gekkigheid uithalen. Hij is een pony om van te houden, waarbij de gezamenlijke tijd en het vertrouwen vooropstaan. Ook de omgang met kinderen kent hij. In het verleden zaten er vaak kinderen op hem terwijl wij hem aan de hand begeleidden. Zo konden zij onder begeleiding hun eerste ervaringen op zijn rug opdoen en samen met hem van de tijd genieten. Longeren en werken in de roundpen kent hij eveneens, al stonden deze activiteiten de afgelopen jaren eerder zelden op het programma. **Gezondheid:** Ongeveer twee jaar geleden heeft hij een lichte hoefbevangenheid gehad. De daaropvolgende röntgencontrole bij de dierenarts was zonder bijzonderheden. Sindsdien zijn ons geen verdere gezondheidsproblemen bekend. Verder is de dierenarts alleen bij ons geweest voor routinecontroles. Momenteel heeft hij last van zomereczeem. Dit is goed te behandelen met een zalf en de aanwezige wondjes zijn inmiddels alweer genezen. Omdat zijn wintervacht op sommige foto’s erg dicht en gekruld lijkt, willen wij een mogelijke verdenking op Cushing direct wegnemen: een veterinaire test was negatief. De opvallende vachtstructuur is bij hem uitsluitend in de winter zichtbaar; in de zomer verdwijnt deze volledig. Regelmatige bezoeken van de hoefsmid is hij gewend en hij gedraagt zich daarbij altijd netjes. **Uitrusting inbegrepen:** Hij wordt samen met zijn aanwezige uitrusting verkocht. Hierbij horen onder andere een zadel, hoofdstellen, halsters en verdere benodigdheden. De uitrusting is al bij de koopprijs inbegrepen. **Onze wens voor hem:** Voor deze bijzondere kerel wensen wij een liefdevol thuis bij mensen die zijn geweldige karakter weten te waarderen en hem nog vele mooie gezamenlijke uren willen bezorgen. Hij is een echte buitenpony die plezier beleeft aan bewegen en aan de tijd met zijn mens, en ondanks zijn leeftijd nog altijd vlot en gemotiveerd onderweg is. Wij doen niet lichtvaardig afstand van hem en hopen van harte dat hij mensen vindt bij wie hij zich net zo prettig mag voelen als bij ons. Bij serieuze interesse ontvangen wij graag een bericht.

Można z nim naprawdę robić najróżniejsze rzeczy. To kuc do kochania, przy którym najważniejsze są wspólnie spędzony czas i wzajemne zaufanie. Jest również przyzwyczajony do kontaktu z dziećmi. W przeszłości często dzieci siedziały na jego grzbiecie, podczas gdy my je prowadziliśmy. Dzięki temu, pod opieką osoby dorosłej, mogły zdobywać pierwsze doświadczenia w siodle i cieszyć się wspólnym czasem z nim. Ponieważ jego zimowa sierść na niektórych zdjęciach wygląda na bardzo gęstą i kręconą, chcielibyśmy od razu wykluczyć ewentualne podejrzenie choroby Cushinga: badanie weterynaryjne dało wynik negatywny. Nietypowa struktura sierści występuje u niego wyłącznie zimą, natomiast latem całkowicie zanika. Jest przyzwyczajony do regularnych wizyt kowala i zawsze zachowuje się podczas nich bardzo grzecznie. **Wyposażenie w cenie:** Zostanie sprzedany wraz z posiadanym wyposażeniem. W jego skład wchodzą między innymi siodło, ogłowia, kantary oraz pozostały sprzęt. Wyposażenie jest już zawarte w cenie zakupu. **Nasze życzenie dla niego:** Dla tego wyjątkowego konia chcielibyśmy znaleźć kochający dom u osób, które docenią jego wspaniały charakter i nadal będą umożliwiać mu spędzanie pięknych wspólnych chwil. To prawdziwy kuc terenowy, który czerpie radość z ruchu i czasu spędzanego ze swoim człowiekiem, a mimo swojego wieku wciąż jest energiczny i chętny do pracy.
