This little beauty queen is now for sale. Character-wise, Lifra is an absolute sweetheart and a super cuddly companion. She always strives to do everything right, is very curious, trainable, and brave. She has been in training for five months and is learning more each day. In a short time, she has become the horse everyone in the stable admires, with comments like “She’s so adorable – if I could, I’d buy her immediately.” For such a young age, she is already remarkably calm. She is familiar with various desensitization exercises and has quickly understood how to stay relaxed. She has no issues with being rinsed or having objects placed on her back. Overall, she responds strongly to body language and appreciates calm, clear communication.  

Lifra demonstrates all four gaits and is very smooth and extremely comfortable to sit. She performs beautifully both in the arena and in the field. She handles new environments, unfamiliar paths, or unusual situations confidently, whether encountering cyclists, rollerbladers, joggers, cars, dogs, or goats – no problem at all. She also enjoys being a lead horse and has fun running alongside. We even took her swimming and splashing in a nearby creek, and she had a great time. She is always attentive, responsive to aids, and reacts very well to voice commands. Her comfortable gaits make her a pleasure to ride at any time. Even when touched or flicked with the whip all over her body from the saddle, she remains totally relaxed. Walk, trot, and canter are calm, clear, and easy to ride. Her tölt is still in its early stages and requires more strength and routine, but it responds well to cues, and depending on the terrain, she can already move quite briskly in tölt. Naturally, she is not yet collected at her current training level.  

She has handled the dentist and farrier well, and loading onto the trailer is exemplary – she goes in immediately without hesitation. Currently, she is unshod, but we have already practiced hoof care with old horn next to her, and she didn’t even flinch.  

Another highlight is her excellent pedigree. She carries some of Iceland’s best bloodlines, making her highly interesting for breeding purposes. Those familiar with her lineage will quickly notice that she has received only scores between 8.5 and 10 for tölt.  

Last but not least, she impresses with her striking appearance and her lovable, very cuddly nature. With further training, strength, and routine, she will become a completely reliable partner. Her new owner can consider themselves very fortunate to have such a beautiful mare. Due to her still short riding career, she is not suitable for beginners at this stage, but she will definitely become so in the future.
