An Icelandic horse that inspires confidence. Sandra is one of those horses where you quickly feel: everything about her is just right – not only her appearance, but the overall impression. Born in 2018, this gray mare impresses with a high-quality pedigree from the Icelandic farm Steinnes, clear, well-separated gaits, and, most importantly, an exceptionally pleasant character. Sandra combines rideability, courage, and calmness in a very natural, unexcited manner.

She is five-gaited by nature but is intentionally ridden in the four-gaited style with us. Her tölt is always rhythmically steady, clear, and free from pace or trot influences – from a relaxed tempo to a good medium gait. All her gaits are easily responsive, consistently smooth, and comfortable to sit. The trot and canter display impulsion, balance, and an active hind leg. What is particularly remarkable about Sandra is her temperament: she is well-behaved, manageable, attentive, and always motivated.

A horse that thinks along, listens, and provides her rider with a sense of security. This makes her suitable for less experienced riders as well as for those with more sporting ambitions. She is also very well suited for teenagers or finely riding children. Sandra is familiar with riding arenas, indoor halls, longeing, pole work, and outdoor terrain – both alone and in groups. She remains calm in traffic, around everyday stimuli, and in new situations.

She is brave, not spooky, yet sensitive to her handler. Her attentiveness, her willingness to listen, and her constant readiness to give her best make her a true partner. And because a horse purchase doesn’t end with the handover, we also offer support after the sale.
