Blida ist eine wunderschöne schwarzbraune Stute mit Stern und dichtem Langhaar, geboren am 24.08.2017, mit exzellenter Abstammung über Vater Hreimur fra Flugumyri II und Mutter Dagny fra Grjoteyri. Sie zeigt sich im täglichen Umgang familiärfreundlich, aufmerksam und sehr menschenbezogen und überzeugt in der Herde als respektvolles, soziales Pferd. Als überzeugende 5-Gänger-Stute ist sie FIZO-geprüft – bei der Vorstellung mit 6 Jahren in Verden (D) durch Haukur Tryggvason erreichte sie beeindruckende 7,5 im Tölt und 8,0 im Schritt, wobei beide Gangarten taktklar und ausbaufähig sind. Mit ihrem kinderfreundlichen Charakter eignet sie sich hervorragend als Jugendpferd zum Einstieg ins Turniergeschehen, als Familien- und Schulpferd sowie für Freizeit und Therapiepferd, Pass ist vorhanden, wurde jedoch noch nicht trainiert. Die erste Begegnung mit einem Islandpferd prägte schon früh meine Begeisterung für diese besondere Rasse. Ihr anhängliches Wesen, ihre Leistungsbereitschaft und Vielseitigkeit machen sie für mich zu idealen Begleitern. Obwohl meine berufliche Laufbahn zunächst als Kunstwissenschaftlerin verlief, erfüllte ich mir 2008 meinen Jugendtraum mit der Gründung eines eigenen Islandpferdegestüts. Aus Island holte ich einen Zuchthengst sowie drei Zuchtstuten, die den Grundstein für die Islandpferde von Sonnbichl legten. Unsere Pferde überzeugen durch hohe Zuchtwerte, guten Charakter und sind im Turnier- wie auch im Freizeitbereich geschätzt. Bis heute investiere ich viel Zeit, Engagement und Liebe in ihre Aufzucht. Diese Hingabe zeigt sich im offenen, neugierigen und menschenbezogenen Wesen unserer Pferde.
