Fritz ist ein 2007 geborener Quarter-Haflinger-Mix-Wallach mit einem Stockmaß von 146 cm. Ich habe ihn 2022 aus privater Hand übernommen, zuvor lebte er auf einem Kinderferienbetrieb und wurde dort auch geboren. Fritz ist ein sehr freundlicher, eher zurückhaltender, aber aufgeschlossener Wallach. In der Herde ist er rangniedrig und sucht viel Kontakt über Fellpflege mit seinen Artgenossen. Geritten wurde Fritz lange Zeit im Westernstil, später überwiegend als Freizeitpferd und in den letzten Jahren nur noch sehr wenig. Er ist fein im Maul, gut über Gewichtshilfen zu reiten, allerdings nicht antrainiert und ohne nennenswerte Routine. Draußen ist er motiviert und aufmerksam, wurde in der Vergangenheit auch von Reitschülern bewegt. Als Anfängerpferd würde ich ihn dennoch nicht einschätzen, da er klare Führung benötigt. Fritz lebt schon immer im Offenstall und soll diese Haltungsform auch künftig behalten. Boxenhaltung kommt für ihn nicht in Frage. Er steht barhuf, gibt brav die Hufe, beißt oder tritt nicht. Seine Zähne werden jährlich kontrolliert und gemacht. Fritz eignet sich für Menschen, die ein ganz freundliches Freizeitpferd suchen, er genießt die Nähe zum Menschen, ist verspielt und begrüßt einen mit einem freundlichen Brubbeln Kein Händler oder Reitbetrieb.
