Adonis is a very stout built 14.2-14.3hh, 10 year old, Black Tobiano Paint Draftcross Gelding! We originally sold Adonis back in 2020 to some very wealthy folks who were starting their own private Yellowstone themed Ranch. Adonis was the horse that they picked for their kids to learn to ride on and was one that they used for guest to ride when they flew in on the weekends. Of course all good things do come to an end and with the original show Yellowstone coming to an end they moved on from their horse phase in life and I bought Adonis back. One thing is for sure Adonis has been ridden by the greenest of riders and the newest of new riders… folks that have never even rode before has got on him for the first time and rode him around the ranch, through the cows and down the bluffs… he has made folks feel like real cowboys! Away from babysitting city slickers, Adonis has been rode in big country with steep rough elevations. He is great on the trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic as well. He has a smooth jog, a very nice lope, he is one hand broke and turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! Adonis has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. Adonis is the perfect horse to cruise along down the trails on or to use around the ranch! He will take care of riders of all ages and all ability levels.
