The first thing people notice about Fletch is that he's gorgeous. He is shapey with a big soft kind eye and a curious demeanor. He has a cool ranchy look about him that always gets attention. He's also a great size, easy to mount with great substance and presence, along with sturdy bone allowing him to go all day long.
Fletch is not just another pretty face. This guy does it all. Fletch was raised on a huge ranch in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Fletch has done every ranch chore you can imagine. As a result, Fletch has been exposed to everything under the sun. He ropes and holds cattle for doctoring; sorts and pushes mature Angus beef bulls; gate sorts and moves pairs. With this horse and a good stock dog, you can ship a full load of cattle all by yourself. He is brave, confident, handy, and athletic. Fletch has been used as a turnback horse in the cutting pen and has also been used to pony colts.
Fletch isn’t just a work horse. He has all the skills to be your best trail buddy or family horse. He will cross water, go over logs, through deep brush, and navigate bridges without having to ask him twice. He rides out alone or in a group with impeccable manners. Not fazed by dogs, vehicles, farm equipment and UTVs, even when they invade his personal space. He will pull your kids or grandkids around in a sled during winter or be their best riding mount.
Fletch is a beautiful mover with easy transitions from walk-trot-lope/canter. Fletch has a nice stop and a great turnaround. Broke like one should be. Loads and unloads without hesitation . You can pick up all 4 feet easily. Good in a stall or in a pasture with other horses. This horse is one in a million and we want him to find a one in a million home!
