Talk about appealing to the eye. Look at this guy, he gets compliments everywhere we go.
We call him Wrangler. He’s a 4 yr old registered quarter horse that stands right at 16H, has a ton of shape, and even more than looks has disposition to burn. He’s been with us since he was weaned and has been an absolute champ in our school . We feel most anyone should be able to get along with him.
Let’s talk about his pedigree for a bit. He’s by Wagon Stake who stood at the 6666’s ranch and out of and own daughter of Playing Stylish. With a lot of champions on his papers.
He has been exposed to everything here on our farm and whether it’s going on a leisurely trail ride, move cattle, giving lessons, or going on a Sunday afternoon drive (yes, he drives to). Crosses water with ease, easy to shoe and clip, trailers easily. Really has no vices that we know of.
Has good hard feet and can be left barefoot if you prefer and has always been sound for us with no health problems, that we are aware of. He does have and old scar on his right hip where he cut it as a yearling, it’s only superficial and has never been an issue.
He has a very nice extended trot and collects up nice with great speed transitions. Takes his leads easily and has a cute stop and turn around. He’s more of a push type guy which makes him great for inexperienced riders. He doesn’t need to be ridden regularly to stay good.
