Smokey wurde in vielen verschiedenen Umgebungen eingesetzt, sei es um die Ranch herum, um Kühe zu verfolgen, oder oben in den Bergen, die Flüsse und Bäche überqueren und sich um Felsen, Baumstämme und andere Hindernisse herum manövrieren, er tut es mit Leichtigkeit. Er ist wirklich weich im Gesicht und am ganzen Körper und ist ein super hübscher Mover in der Arena. Er reitet mit gesenktem Kopf, sammelt sich schön und bleibt am lockeren Zügel stehen. Er fängt an, seine Spins zu verstehen und will sich wirklich umdrehen. Smokey ist ein Gentleman auf dem Boden und fährt ohne Probleme los. Er ritt ihn barfuß oder ohne Zaumzeug, er will immer noch gefallen und zuhören. Er wurde verschiedenen Peitschen, Planen, Plastiktüten, Seilen usw. ausgesetzt und desensibilisiert. und geht ruhig damit um. Smokey ist eine Freude und ein Vorteil für jeden, der ihn reitet. He loves attention, and is easy to ride. He stands around 14.1-14.2hh is kind, easy on the eyes, and most importantly forgiving of the mistakes of new riders, and a joy to be around. Smokey has been used in many different environments whether it’s around the ranch trailing cows, or and up in the mountains crossing rivers and streams, and maneuvering his way around rocks, logs, and other obstacles, he does it with ease. He’s really soft in the face and throughout his body, and is a super pretty mover in the arena. He rides with his head low, collects up nicely, and stops on a loose rein. He’s starting to catch on to his spins, and really wants to turn around. Smokey is a gentleman on the ground, and tacks up and rides off with no issues. Rode him bareback or without a bridle, he still aims to please and listen. He’s been exposed and desensitized to different whips, tarps, plastic bags, ropes, etc… and handles them all calmly.
