Boonsmal Royal Chic AKA "Legend" is a 9yr old registered, red roan gelding that stands the perfect height of 15 hands and is a solid, safe gelding. Legend is a well-trained gelding and could excel in a lot of different disciplines. Legend rides English or western. He rides great in the arena and pics up both his leads and rides collected and is very soft in the bridle. Legend also takes a jump and enjoys every minute of it.
Legend rides in a group or goes out by himself with no issues. He crosses water goes over logs and wherever you point him with no refusal.
The most important part of Legend is his quiet, gentle attitude. Legend is gentle enough I think anyone could get along with him. He also neck reins, side passes and yields to leg pressure, making him very easy to ride and handle. You can also ride Legend bareback and bridleless, if you so choose.
Legend is the first one to meet you at the gate. Legend is gentle enough that my little boys can brush and lead him around and we have also been teaching them how to ride. Legend has a super smooth walk, trot and canter. We have exposed Legend to bouncy balls, flapping tarps and all kinds of obstacles and he takes it all in stride.
We have also taken him down the main highway into town and we have ridden him right into the local hardware store!
We haven’t found anything that rattles Legend, he stays the same everyday whether he is ridden daily or once a month.
