He has been down many miles of trails, where he crosses water with ease, downfalls, and is sure footed in steep, rocky terrain. Sargent has done all the ranch chores from the branding pen to pushing cattle to new pastures. This is a standout gelding that is one hand broke, moves off leg pressure, side passes and goes where you point him. Sargent opens and closes gates. We have used him to pony colts off too. He is fun to ride whether you have to get a job done or just go for a relaxing ride down the trails. He lopes around the arena picks up both leads and is smooth in all gaits. Sargent is easy to maneuver over all the trail obstacles. He stands to be bathed, loads right up in the trailer and stands tied without a fuss.
