Exceptional Yearling Gelding for Dressage or Show Jumping

Bay yearling gelding to make 16.2-17hh.  By the legendary Franziskus out of a mare by Universeel x Zeoliet.  Born in Ireland and registered with HSI so eligible for all age classes down the line. He has an amazing naturally uphill conformation with three excellent paces: a perfect walk, a dynamic trot and a fantastic uphill canter.  Well handled.  Bred primarily for dressage with some jumping lines thrown in on the dam side.  He is extremely athletic and brave and will go far in what ever sphere you choose.

A little about his pedigree: 

His sire, Franziskus’ success record is packed! He was called up to the Olympic squad in 2019 and secured 4th place in the German Championships in the Grand Prix dressage freestyle. In 2022 he won the bronze medal in the team at the World Championships in Herning and became World Cup stage winner in Stuttgart. In 2023 he wins the bronze medal in the World Cup stage in Amsterdam. He won the golden ribbon in S*** and S**** dressage 26 times so far under the great rider, Ingrid Klimke.

Franziskus first impressed the spectators at the Westphalian licensing in 2010, and was awarded a premium. He had already won the qualification for the German Championships as a foal. Franziskus passed his performance test in Münster-Handorf successfully; he got scores of 9.0 for trot, canter and rideabilty, and 9.5 for his character. Franziskus continued on his successful path, winning the Bundeschampionat as a four-year-old. Ingrid Klimke began riding Franziskus at the end of 2013, and was victorious with him in his first young horse classes. He is now competing successfully at intermediate I, winning at Münster, and finished second in the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal Trophy, on a score of 9.5. 
ranziskus has 12 licensed sons from his first three crops; an enviable record for any stallion. Among them is Formel Eins, a Westphalian premium stallion. His foals are modern, uphill types with good temperaments, and his son Fehrbellin was crowned the German Champion Foal in 2012. 

Dam sire Universal is by the legendary keur stallion, Olivi.  Olivi has an incredibly proven record as a sire making him a top contender for dressage breeders. Olivi’s offspring have earned him the incredibly high Dressage Index of 175 and he has been previously ranked number 2 on the KWPN Sire Rankings and 18th on the WBFSH Dressage Sires list.  He has sired many Keur/Elite daughters, two approved sons, and is the damsire for additional licensed stallions. His offspring are consistent winners from the Young Horse classes up through Grand Prix in both Europe and the US. A stallion that is proven at Grand Prix himself

The dam line follows suit with many prestigious stallions including the legendary KWPN stallion Zeoliet. In 1984 Zeoliet was amongst the best stallion in the stallion performance test and he passed on his quality to his descendants. He received 9,2 for his dressage test and 9 and 9,5 for the jumping parts. Zeoliet competed in the Stallion Competition Circuit under Henk van den Broek and performed 4th level dressage with Roger Schulkens.

Zeoliet has two approved sons from his first breeding season, Elcaro and Eusebio. The dark bay was especially gifted as show jumping sire. He has sired several Grand Prix show jumpers like Escudo, Supercruise, Jumbo and Elando. Nevertheless, he also produced a large lot of top level dressage horses of which Dotato, Neoliet, Leoliet and Favoriet are renowned horses. The last two years of his life, Zeoliet was up for stud in the U.S. at Scot Tolman's Shooting Star Farm.
