Boomer as we call him is a 5yr old 15.1h Friesian paint x quarter horse gelding that checks all the boxes!! Boomer is stout made and stands the perfect height and rides as good as he looks. Boomer neck reins, sidepasses and has a big stop. Boomer is soft and responsive to his cues making him easy to ride and get along with.
Boomer is a seasoned trail horse that has seen a lot of trail, highway miles and does not mind traffic. We have also ridden Boomer into town, used him to push cattle and run errands here on the farm. Boomer rides English or western and could exel in hunter jumper or dressage .
Boomer rides well in the arena and picks up both his leads. He also rides well outside in a group or goes out alone without a fuss. I think Boomer would be a potential rope horse as he is athletic and has a huge stop. We have exposed Boomer to tarps, bouncy balls, all kinds of obstacles and he does well with all of it. Boomer does well inside or turned out and is low on the pecking order. Boomer stands to be tacked and mounted and to be washed. Boomer is up to date on farrier, dewormer and had his teeth done in November. Boomer also has a negative coggins and he is 100% sound with no vices and ready to move into his forever home!
