Huggies is our adorable haflinger gelding. When you see him you will just want to hug him. He is super broke. Rides like an old seasoned ranch horse. The best part about him is he is a BEGINNER UNICORN type! He is one of those hard to find ones that anyone can ride and enjoy.
Huggies is the perfect little fun size horse standing 13.3 hands tall. He is a wide and stout made 13.3. He easily carries an adult. Plus he is only 10 years old.
He has been part of our family and used by us. We know him both inside and out. He is just a fat and cute as can be. He has manners and all the fancy buttons, yes he's as broke as broke gets. He knows how to take a step back and spin around with very little pressure on the bit. He was well trained and been used in his life. It’s shows in his riding. I would trust him with any kid, adult, grandma or grandpa, any age, beginner. Doesn't matter. You can ride him. I trust anyone can ride him anywhere, including BRIDLE-LESS! Absolutely NO kick or buck in him! Absolutely no bad habits! Absolutely no maintenance. He is simple, easy, and fun to ride. Plus is sure pretty to look at. He has been more miles and seen more country than most people! When I say he's been there and done that I mean it, he knows what a hard days work is outside in the country and will last all day. He is one handed broke, neck reins, and has a good stop! He has always been willing to go or do anything they have asked. He will ease thru the creeks/ponds, thickets, traffic safe, train safe, machinery safe, loud noises don't bother him. He has spent many of long days working cows, rode on long hog hunting trips, swimming ponds, tied out camping, and been thru every aspect of the woods from thickets to boggy creeks, and trail riding down the roads. Trains honking and going by don't bother him, he will ride right next to it. He even rides ENGLISH!
He is BOMBPROOF, absolutely no spook at all and will go anywhere you point him, he never refuses or says no. He is a once in a lifetime time little horse. He is one of those that is as honest as the day is long. He's easy to catch, bathes, and hauls like a champ. The kids themselves, saddle, bridle, and ride him everywhere with ZERO help from an adult. I trust this little horse enough for little kids to run up to him from the front or back and he will stand like a rock.
Huggies will walk, trot, lope, just point and give a little smooch. He will go the speed you want him to go. He is the coolest little guy around and everywhere we go he gets ALL the attention. He leads, loads, ties, bathes, clips, and stands for the farrier. I really can't say enough good things about him. Please don't hesitate to call us about Huggies. I'd love to talk to you about him.
