Ariat is a stout built black john/gelding mule that is standing 15.3hh and he is a 13 years old. Ariat is just what everyone needs, he has years of experience so he is safe and well seasoned which makes him dependable! Ariat is a do it all kind of mule whether you want to ride, drive or pack… he does it all! He can go out and hit the trails and just cruise along slow and easy. He rides on a loose rein and is never in a hurry. He has a smooth jog, a nice easy to set lope, a good stop, turns around easily and backs! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife. He will go up or down steep slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been ridden through town and is safe in traffic is not spooky. Ariat has been ridden around the ranch and has pushed cows. Ariat will go under harness and drives the very best, tight spaces are no issue for him and he will hitch single or double either one.
