**Geysir frá Útibleiksstöðum** Gelding, born in 2021 Colour: red dun pinto Training: halter-trained **Pedigree:** IS2021153539 Sire: Otur frá Fremri-Fitjum Grandsire: Oddi frá Hafsteinsstöðum, 8.32 Great-grandsire: Sær frá Bakkakoti Dam: Gjóska frá Útibleiksstöðum Maternal great-grandsire: Álfasteinn frá Selfossi Very chilled and rather low in temperament – that is Geysir, who was able to spend his youth carefree on Icelandic pastures in a close-knit group of geldings. Nevertheless, he knows and enjoys contact with people and is, of course, halter-trained and easy to handle. In terms of temperament, he is more of the calm and even-tempered type, so after being started under saddle, one could imagine him as a relaxed riding partner without ambitions for competition. For Geysir, it would be a good idea to let him enjoy the summer in Iceland and import him from October onwards, then begin his training after his first winter on the continent. Until then, getting to know him and allowing him to settle in should be the priority.
