🍫This is Willy Wonka a beautiful chocolate Rocky Mountain welsh horse. He is a breed you don’t see everyday especially one that is this broke. He is a perfect honest all around trail and family horse. He is the kind that is bombproof for absolutely anyone to ride. He is kid tested and grandparents approved. He has been rode by ages 3 yrs old to 85 yrs old. He is a been there done that type. A well seasoned horse with thousands of miles under his belt. He is the perfect size of 14.3 hand tall. Not too big not too small!
🍫Willy Wonka is a Rocky Mountain Welsh. If you don’t know about the breed I encourage you to look them up. They perform a smooth, four-beat ambling gait—often called the "single-foot”. Which is so smooth and comfortable to ride. It’s not a prancy or hyper gait. Not quick. It’s such a natural more laid back gentle gait. He will walk or kick him up to his a gait. Then you can kick him right up to his perfect little short lope. He will go both slow or fast. You just set the speed to your liking. He is super easy to get gaiting but as soon as you are done he will drop right back down into a walk. It’s kinda of liking putting your car on cruise control. He will do the rest. He is a super smoooooth ride!!!! And oh so easy and fun. If you have back or hip issues and need a comfortable ride this is him. He is a stout made horse that has plenty of foot and bone. Willy Wonka is trail riders dream horse. He is a true gentleman to be around on the ground. He is a very well mannered gelding. He stands tied at the trailer, stands for farrier, vet, and bathes well. He stalls well, and enjoys turn out time. He gets along with other horse well. He's is very brave and takes everything you expose him to in stride.
🍫 Willy Wonka will cross whatever you come to water, bridges, deadfall, wildlife, and traffic. We have been through rocky terrain, had him around gunfire, tarps, city lights, and cattle, all of which he has handled very well. You cannot rattle him or stir him up. He is a pro. We did ride him right along side the train 🚂 in town bareback with a halter. There are not very many horse I would dare to try that with. Those trains are so loud and moving so fast. He acted like he sees trains everyday. I was very impressed with how he handled it.
🍫 Willy Wonka has a true one hand neck rein, and is very light in the mouth. He backs up with ease. He rides out alone just fine. Not at all buddy sour or herd soured. Not at all hyper. I can’t stress that enough. We have used him to check our cattle and just to ride out in the pasture to check fences. We have took him on many mountain rides through all types of terrain. He is a seasoned real deal trail horse. Absolutely not fazes this guy. Not at all spooky or watchy. No bad habits at all. Absolutely no buck or silliness when riding him.
🍫Willy Wonka is a super easy keeper. Requires no maintenance of any kind. He can go bare foot or put shoes on him. You can stall him or turn him out. Doesn’t matter to him. He is easy.
