Dear Sir or Madam,

I am offering my 10-year-old gelding Calleo. I am really advertising him with a heavy heart and would like to emphasize before providing further details that the horse will only be given to "good hands."

I bought him when he was 6 years old. At that time, he was only backed and had nothing to do with competitive sports.

He is incredibly affectionate and cuddly, giving the rider an unbelievably secure feeling.

He moves very well in the jumping arena, and due to his physique (extremely long torso), he has a big canter, which allows him to handle jumps that come up quite short without any problems.

Furthermore, he is a horse that builds a strong bond with the rider; he always wants to please. Even when something is a bit spooky, he can be controlled throughout, and even in tricky situations, he can be easily brought back down.

In 2021, I started taking lessons with him and began competing at the end of the season. By the end of the season, we were even able to achieve our first placements. In 2022, we started the competition season and continued to collect successes, so much so that by the end of the season we were already able to ride at L level. In 2023, we largely competed in class A** and L with consistently positive results and were often placed. In 2024, another horse in a similarly untrained situation joined us and went into training, which is why we presented him at competitions to maintain his performance. In 2025, with the next horse now taking center stage, we would like to part ways at this time.
