We are looking for a suitable riding-share arrangement for our 9-year-old Asterix (Asterion). At approximately 179 cm (17.3 hh), he is certainly not small, but he is incredibly kind and easy to ride. He is lovely to ride in dressage and is also an excellent schoolmaster over fences, as he already has a great deal of experience and has been placed at M level in show jumping. We are primarily looking for someone who will ride him properly in dressage. Other activities such as jumping, hacking and so on can also be discussed by arrangement.
You should have solid basic experience and be confidently riding at A level. We expressly do not want beginners who would use him as a “school horse.” A fair and respectful approach to the horse should also be particularly important to you.
There are no stable duties involved, such as turning him out or mucking out the field or paddock. You could come 2–4 times a week, and the days are relatively flexible. If you are interested, we would be delighted to hear from you :) Please include some information about your riding experience in your message.
