Opoque beauty with the softness of Suarez – a filly made to shine

The dam, Sunshine, descends from mare family 70. She was awarded a premiumin dressage as a three-year-old and holds a dressage breeding index of 136.

The grand-dam, Delta, is an A-graded mare. She is the dam of the approved stallion Sudooro 1478 (by Suarez), finalist in the Breeders Trophy for 5-year-olds and successful at M-level B dressage. Delta also produced So Precious, who received 87.2% at the foal inspection and subsequently won the South Swedish Foal Championship in 2023.

The great-granddam, Mercedes, is an Elite mare. She produced Sundown 1526 (by Suarez), an approved stallion and finalist in the Falsterbo Folksam Open last summer, also representing Sweden at the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Verden with Johan Svensson. Mercedes also produced Zurprise (by Zuidenwind), participant in the Breeders Trophy and competitor at Prix St. Georges level, as well as Sunrise (by Suarez), awarded a premium in dressage at the young horse test.

Opoque had an outstanding three-year-old season, being named Premium Stallion at the stallion approvals in both the Netherlands and Denmark. He went on to a 21-day test in the KWPN, scoring 85.5 with high marks for his powerful gaits and rideability. Opoque won his class at the World Young Horse Championships for 4-year-olds and was selected to represent the KWPN in 2024. His dam, Ice Princess STH, competed successfully up to M-level dressage, and four of her siblings have achieved results up to Prix St. Georges. Further back in the dam line, we find the stallion Blue Hors First Choice. His sire, All at Once, an Ampere son, competes in international Grand Prix dressage and participated in both the Tokyo and Paris Olympics with Yessin Rahmouni.
