Leonel was born on June 1, 2023, here with me. He is growing up in a species-appropriate environment in a mixed herd and has daily contact with people. In October 2024, he was gelded. He is now accompanying short rides as a lead horse, follows behind the sulky, and allows the lungeing girth and blanket to be placed on his back without any issues. He willingly gives all four hooves and is well-behaved with the farrier; we have also taken him in a trailer. He currently stands at approximately 131 cm and is almost the same size as his mother in two pictures. Leonel is extremely alert, curious, and very people-oriented. I hope for this wonderful pony a future as a riding or driving pony; his mother competes successfully in endurance, both ridden and driven in pairs.
