Chattahoochee is an absolute show stopper of a horse. He is a wide load. He is a grullo gelding standing 15.2 hands tall and just 10 yrs old. (Yes his age is verified by the vet.) He is that old fashioned cool. He is such an easy fun horse to ride that is a safe dependable one.
At just 10 years old, Chattahoochee has his whole life ahead of him. He is at that prime age that you still have a lifetime to enjoy with him. He has had a lot of training in his life and been rode hundreds of miles out on the ranch and in the mountains. He is extremely honest and willing to please. He has the best most comfortable jog and little rocking chair short lope. He packs his head low and level without any fuss or resistance.
This guy has lots of ability and talent. He really could be used for anything. From ranch work, to trail riding, to hunting, roping, day work, mounted shooting, ranch trial courses, etc… you can do whatever you want on him. But no matter which direction you decide to take him he is ready and capable. I would say he is suitable for any age rider that knows how to sit on a horse and knows the basics. He is safe. Not hyper or high strung. He is laid back and easy going. Absolutely no buck or anything like that. Again he is safe and well trained and many rode by all types of riders.
This gelding has been nothing short of amazing for us. One of my absolute favorite horses. We have took him out on trails and rode him all kinds of terrain. Rode him through town. Been around the kids and dogs with all the commotions and chaos. Which he has spent years being rode around at the ranch. He has been there and seen that.
Chattahoochee is a super easy keeper. He can go bare foot or put shoes on him. We just have barefoot now. He has good solid black hooves. You can stall him or turn him out. Doesn’t matter to him. He is easy. Gets along with all the other horses, ponies, cows, donkeys, goats, etc. PLUS he sells 100% sound. He did have a pre vet evaluation done by our vet included in the pictures.
