Bob is a 3 year old Quarter Horse gelding standing 15 hands high. He is by the famous, Gunner Dun It Again and out of a daughter of Wimpys Little Step. Bob is bred and trained for excellence, with the brain of an old soul schoolmaster. He has had 11 months of reining training, and has been continuing in a versatile training program here with us; ranch work, jumping, dressage, and going around with the kids. Absolutely anyone can safely ride and enjoy this gelding. He is user friendly and so tolerant to any rider or situation. Whether you want to excel in the show ring, or have a trustworthy and smart horse to enjoy at home - Bob is ready to be that parter for years to come.
In the ring, Bob is ready to succeed in the reining pen, ranch riding, cow horse classes, or as a hunter/jumper. The best part about this horse is that you can really do it all with him. Under western tack, he circles well, has stylish spins, and a big stop. Anything you can do with a bridle on, you can do with it off. He has easy lead changes and smooth transitions. Under English tack, Bob rides like a hunter. He is putting together basic dressage tests and knows his lateral work. He is soft in the bridle and just overall a user friendly, forgiving horse to ride. He is an old soul through and through.
On the trails and off property Bob acts like a seasoned pro everywhere he goes. Take him anywhere, do anything with him, and have a solid and reliable horse under you. You often forget his age, as he is always the quietest one of the group. He crosses any and all obstacles, is safe in traffic and on busy roads, and even does all the trail obstacle courses too!
In the barn, Bob is Mr. Personality! He loves people and loves getting attention. He follows you around in the pasture, and is the first to the gate to greet you. He's happy living inside, or out, and is the easiest of keepers.
