Peanut is a very beautiful dun gone grey 4-year-old gelding that really shines best out on the trails and in the arena. He stands a solid, stout 15–15.1 hands and is built to be a nice-sized, handy horse. He has a quiet personality, a level head, and a nice, steady lope. He lopes correct circles on the correct leads and is soft and responsive to ride.

Peanut has been used to push cows around and has been exposed to a lot of the things you run into out on the trail. He crosses water, goes over bridges, and takes new obstacles without making a big deal out of them. He has been desensitized to tarps, bags, kids, and other everyday distractions. He has also carried a flag and handles having things around him well. He has a very kind personality and genuinely wants to please.

Peanut would be best suited for a confident rider that knows how to ride a soft horse. Occasionally when under pressure he can be a little sticky in his front end, but he does good when you give him the time and direction to think through the situation.

Overall, Peanut is a fun horse to have around and even more fun to take down the trail. He has a good handle, a steady lope, and a nice way of carrying himself.

I think Peanut would make a great trail or pleasure horse for someone looking for a good-looking young gelding with a solid foundation and a willing attitude. He has a lot of the basics in place and is ready for someone to take him in whatever direction they’d like to finish him. He’s easy on the eyes, fun to ride, and has a lot of potential to make someone a really nice horse.
