Hondo has been a go to mount around home and everyone's personal favorite all summer! He never fails to catch everyone's attention no matter rather it is at home in the barn, out on the ranch, or on a trail ride vacation. Hondo is one you truly could not paint a prettier picture of with his gorgeous buckskin color are dark black flowing mane and tail. Not only does he have the looks everyone is after but he has the athletic ability and all the fancy buttons to go with him! Hondo walks, trots and lopes nice collected circles as well as having a huge sliding stop and stylish spins! We have lightly started pen roping calves as well as tracking the roping sled on him and he is showing tons of potential to go on and make a high end heel, calf or breakaway horse. Outside the arena Hondo has been used to gather sort and work cattle and even been hauled to some team ropings to push cattle up and be used to flag the ropings on. He has also been trail ridden extensively and hauled on week long, overnight camping trips. Hondo is dependable every time you ride him and stay good with time off. Nothing bothers him including things such as horses and wagons, farm equipment, traffic, loud noises and almost anything else you can think of! Hondo crosses water, logs, ditches etc without any hassle and is truly a joy to ride making you feel confident no matter what you're asking of him. He is good in a stall or outside in the pasture with other horses and easy to catch. Hondo is good to bathe, shoe, and load on and off the trailer.
