Rio è molto ben addestrato e di ottima maniere! Ha un carattere gentile ed è molto tranquillo! Sta bene per la toelettatura, il montaggio e i bagni! Gli piace essere lasciato al pascolo ed è facile da catturare! Raccoglie bene i piedi e sta bene per il ferratura! Rio è un cavallo facile da gestire e non richiede cure particolari! Va bene sia in arena che sui sentieri! Ha un passo, trotto e galoppo facili da cavalcare! Si muove facilmente con la pressione delle gambe, con il reins a collo e si ferma senza problemi! Può fare pivot e side pass. Si presta sia per il lavoro western che per il bareback! Può essere anche bridled! È ottimo sui sentieri!
