With names like Two ID Bartender made famous by the Pitzer Ranch in his pedigree, Bobby has the size, athleticism and genetics to do just about anything. He is a sweet horse with a kind eye, dark red coat, and a beautiful long, thick mane. Bobby genuinely loves to be in the presence of people always approaching the gate when people are near seeking some attention. He is in tune with what you're doing and is always watching you inquisitively. He's easy to catch no matter the size of pasture, and is a in your pocket type horse yet he is very respectful of your space on the leadline. Bobby loads right up into the trailer eager for any adventure that awaits him. At the young age of five Bobby has his whole life ahead of him and he continues to grow in experience with every ride which will allow him to go on to finish out in any direction with his next rider. Bobby has a huge stride and covers ground effortlessly in a trot. His lope is smooth and he will come to a stop by simply uttering the word whoa. He listens intently for verbal cues when asking for the next gait. He conveniently stands at a block or barrel to be mounted and dismounted making it easy for shorter riders or those just needing a boost. Bobby came from his orginal owner/breeder to us and we have spent the past two months giving him a tune up spending a majority of time riding in the arena however he is gaining more confidence riding outside on the trails and around the ranch. He is a talented young prospect that is suitable to go into any western or english discipline as a performance horse with a skilled rider. Bobby has good manners on the ground too, he fly sprays, bathes, stands tied to be saddled and for the farrier. When given the option he "goes" outside of his stall in his turnout and keeps a very tidy stall and for someone who cleans their own stalls that alone is worth a lot. He does like a buddy in the barn or pasture beside him but will ride off alone. He has been pastured with multiple horses before and is in the middle of the pecking order. Bobby will paw at feeding time if he is the last one fed but other than that we have not observed any bad habits with him. His video and photos showcase that we have worked to expose Bobby to ropes, cattle, dogs, bouncing balls, bicycles, water, bridges, flags, parades, guinea fowl as well as motorized vehicles. Bobby is current on his vaccinations, deworming, dental care and farrier work and has had a comprehensive veterinary physical examination recently completed. He has clean, scar free legs and no history of illness or any major injuries. He does have one scar on his right buttock near his tail. To this point Bobby has been low maintenance and travels barefoot with solid black feet getting trimmed every four weeks. A copy of his negative coggins test and health papers will also be provided if shipping is required.
