Avalon is an elegant, collected mover who lopes smoothly and performs correct circles with ease. He has a nice stop and a soft, easy backup. With his striking appearance and talent, Avalon has the look and ability to excel in both English and Western disciplines. Avalon is a horse that is a free mover. We’ve used him to work cattle, which he genuinely enjoys, and we’ve roped on him in both the branding pen and out in the pasture. On the trail, Avalon is confident and reliable—he moves easily through thick brush, deep water, and over logs. He’s encountered a wide range of wildlife, including deer, pigs, and elk, and remains calm and unfazed. Avalon also handles obstacle courses with ease—tarp, tires, pool noodles—nothing spooks him. He’s a kind and willing horse with a steady temperament, perfect for riders of all levels. He’s also fully traffic-safe: cars, trucks, semis, flags, bouncy balls—you name it, he’s seen it and handled it without issue. Avalon rides out alone or in a group and has impeccable ground manners. He ties, clips, saddles, and bridles easily. Whether in a stall or out on pasture, he settles in comfortably. He loves bath time and grooming and is as user-friendly and lovable as they come.
