CHEDDAR — WHERE QUALITY, QUIETNESS & CLASS COME TOGETHER
6-Year-Old Palomino Gelding • 15.0 Hands • Refined • Reliable •
Meet Cheddar, the kind of gelding that turns heads for his color and keeps them turned with his kindness. He’s a golden, polished gentleman with a heart as soft as his shine—steady, seasoned, and right in the sweet spot of his life.
Cheddar has lived the real deal outdoor life. He’s been ridden across mountain ranges, hunted off of, and has packed gear through the quiet backcountry. He’s seasoned on long, week-long camping trips and knows how to travel big country with confidence and style.
He crosses water, logs, bridges, brush, and terrain of every kind like he’s done it a thousand times—which he essentially has.
Where most horses blink at traffic, Cheddar doesn’t even flick an ear.
This gelding is as solid in town as he is on the trail. Ride him right down the street with cars buzzing past, trucks rolling by, and everyday commotion—it doesn’t rattle him. He’s been down Main Street, through neighborhoods, and into busy areas without a single worry.
A horse equally comfortable under blue skies or streetlights is a rare one.
Cheddar has been around cattle and shows every bit of promise to make a handy ranch horse. With his steady way of traveling and that level, thinking mind, he’s ready to step into more ranch work and look good doing it—because this gelding is built to impress.
He’s been hauled from Oklahoma to Texas, through multiple National Parks, and has taken new scenery, new challenges, and new adventures all in stride. Cheddar unloads calm, rides off relaxed, and handles new places with class.
Cheddar has more outside seasoning than arena miles, but he’s coming along beautifully. He’s learning his walk–trot–lope circles and gets smoother and more polished each time he steps in the arena. With his willingness and foundation, finishing him out will be easy. He’s almost there.
Cheddar is an in-your-pocket, meet-you-at-the-gate kind of gelding. He’s soft, gentle, and genuinely enjoys people. Saddle him cold, saddle him warm, saddle him after time off—he stays quiet and honest. Rides bareback also.
He rides in a halter, hackamore, or bit, has solid natural feet, and stays barefoot with no issues. Stall him or turn him out—either way, he’s content and easy.
Cheddar is the full package: beauty, brains, experience, and the kind of temperament people spend years searching for. If you want a golden gelding that can ride the mountains, handle the streets, work the ranch, and babysit the family—this is the one.
Don’t miss your chance. Horses with this kind of style and steadiness don’t come up often.
We are open to anyone interested in him to schedule a time to come see him or if you can’t make it schedule a FaceTime showing to see him.
If you need help with transport don’t hesitate to ask we have a list of reputable haulers that can get him safely to your doorstep WORLD WIDE including, Alaska , Mexico, Hawaii, Canada and anywhere in between from Stephenville, TX. Call Michelle with M$ Performance Horses 661-817-9120 for more info.
