Colonel Oil Bill, auch bekannt als „Bill“ – schlicht, aber so elegant, mit korrekter Konformation und der willigsten, höflichsten Art, die man sich wünschen kann. Dieser wunderschöne Blood Bay, Jahrgang 2020, AQHA-Wallach, ist 15,1 hh groß. Es ist die Art von Jungwallach, den man zuverlässig sein „Go-to“-Pferd nennen kann, auf das man sich beim Ausreiten verlassen kann. Das Pferd, das das Potenzial und die richtige Einstellung besitzt, gepaart mit einem ruhigen Temperament, um das perfekte Familienpferd zu sein – das Pferd, das Teil der Familie wird und Sie zu seinem besten Freund macht. Dieser Wallach hat das süßeste Temperament und die freundlichste Seele. Bill ist stets lernbereit, geht neue Situationen mutig und vor allem sicher an. Auf unserem Hof wurde er verschiedenen Situationen ausgesetzt – von gemütlichen Ausritten im Gelände bis hin zu anspruchsvollerem Terrain: tiefes Wasser, dichtes Gebüsch, steile und felsige Hügel, laute Verkehrslärm auf der Straße bis hin zu lautem landwirtschaftlichem Gerät. Wir haben ihn zum Zaunchecken verwendet und mit Rindern geritten. Auch für das Beladen auf LKWs haben wir ihn genutzt. Bill ist ein sehr geschmeidiges Pferd, mit einem angenehmen, gleichmäßigen Tölt, Trab und Galopp, dabei stets ruhig und gelassen. Er lässt sich bequem aufstellen, satteln und waschen. Er ist sanft im Umgang, sowohl auf dem Rücken als auch daneben. Er ist genauso selbstbewusst allein unterwegs wie in der Gruppe. Man kann ihn western-, englischreiten oder auch barfuß, wenn man möchte.

Colonel Oil Bill, AKA “Bill” - simple yet so elegant, correct conformation and the most willing, mannerly demeanor you could ask for. This beautiful blood bay, 2020 model AQHA gelding stands 15.1 hands. This is the type of young gelding that you can faithfully call your go-to horse, the horse you trust to go out and use. The type of horse that has all the potential and correct mindset, along with quiet temperament to be that perfect family horse, the type that becomes part of the family and makes you his best friend. This gelding has the sweetest temperament, and kindest soul. Bill is always eager to learn and takes to new situations bravely and most importantly safely. On our farm bill has been exposed to many different situations- from just your leisurely trail rides to rough terrain- deep water, thick brush, steep and rocky hills, to noisy traffic up and down the highway, to even roaring farm equipment. We have used him to check fence and ride through our cattle. We’ve loaded a couple trucks out on him as well. Bill is a very smooth ride, he has a nice, smooth W/T/C all while keeping a level head. He stands to be mounted, saddled and bathed. He is gentle on or off his back. He’s just as confident solo as he is in a group. You can ride him western, english or even bareback if you prefer.
