Saint is one of those horses that is just a pleasure to have around. He has an incredibly gentle personality and is the kind of horse that makes you enjoy being around him.
Saint is 6 years old, stands 16.1 hands, and is half Quarter Horse and half Draft. He is a really good trail horse and crosses water and obstacles without making a big deal out of it. He has a willing, easygoing attitude and is very easy to get on. You can mount him with a mounting block.
His previous owners roped off of him on the head side, and he has been roped off of out in the pasture while doctoring cattle. They have also dragged bulls on him, so he has been exposed to real ranch work and has seen some things outside of the arena.
Saint is very easy to handle. He loads, washes, saddles and bridles easily. He picks up his feet easily and is great for the farrier. He is 100% sound and is currently being shod only because we ride in rocky terrain. He is just an all-around pleasant horse to work with.
He is a beautiful sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail and four white socks.
I really like this horse and would love to see him go to someone who will appreciate his gentle nature and enjoy him. He has the size, disposition, trail experience and ranch background to make someone a really nice horse.
