Meet Wrangler – a stunning 7-year-old red roan gelding who turns heads wherever he goes! Standing 14.2 hands and weighing in at over 1100 lbs, he’s thick-made, compact, solid and dependable as they come with a gorgeous mane and tail.
Wrangler is one of those geldings you will search a life time to find- he is the perfect size for any aged rider to have some fun on! Wrangler has a good pedigree, a great mind and all the ability you could ask for, plus he’s extremely quiet and gentle! We honestly cannot say enough good things about Wrangler! He is easy to ride, in the arena he stands to be mounted, walks off nicely every time, has a nice jog, lopes circles, rides on a loose rein and neck reins, has a nice stop, knows leg cues, side passes and backs up. He has smooth transitions, is soft in the face, and takes both leads with ease. Rides english and moves beautifully under saddle– a real head-turner in any tack!
Wrangler has seen lots of outside miles as well, he crosses water, goes up and down the hills, over the logs and through the mud. He’s steady and confident on the trail, crosses obstacles, and handles new situations with a willing attitude. He has been started on the heel side as well-he has roped cattle and the sled out of the box and is coming along great. Wrangler has lots of run and is good in the box. He has also been used to gather and sort cattle in the pasture.
He loves attention, is easy to catch, stands tied all day, stands to be brushed, saddled, and bridled. Wrangler is super sweet, stands good for the farrier and veterinarian, loads good, hauls well, is good in a stall or pasture, he is good with both mares and geldings.
