A little about Jagger’s history…he has been with the same family since he was a 2 yr old. He’s been doctoring cattle from the very beginning. Worked on a feed lot for 6 months in Nebraska as a three year old, been hauled to pasture ropings, participated in the branding pen, and covered miles and miles of country with riders ranging from 8-60.
Jagger’s calm & quiet personality makes him a pleasure to have in the barn. He's the perfect gentleman with exceptional ground manners, self-loads into the trailer, hauls like a dream, and will stand tied wherever you park him. Jagger doesn’t get fresh with time off, he’ll be the same horse every time you step to him.
Jagger rides out across open pastures, opens and closes gates. He confidently crosses water, carefully handles rough terrain, goes up and down inclines, and navigates through thick brush.
In the arena, Jagger is a solid head horse. He’s quiet in the box and suitable for a #5 and up roper. He moves laterally, has a smooth walk, trot, canter, goes both directions on the correct lead, and even rides bridleless. He's comfortable around tarps, flags, traffic, UTVs, farm equipment, and is gun safe. Jagger stands for mounting, is great for the farrier, and enjoys a good bath!
