Gelding

Blue is a substantial, well-built gelding with a willing attitude, good ground manners, and plenty of forward motion. He is the kind of horse with personality—pleasant to have around, easy to handle, and always interested in what is going on.

Under saddle, Blue is forward and has more go than whoa, so we recommend an intermediate rider who is comfortable with a horse that likes to move. He is willing to go where he is directed and has a good attitude about his work. He rides through water and handles different surroundings without making an issue of them.

On the ground, Blue is straightforward and mannerly. He stands tied for grooming and saddling, picks up all four feet, and stands well for body work and massage. He enjoys attention and is easy to get along with.

Blue has solid feet and can comfortably be maintained barefoot or shod, depending on his workload and terrain.

He is a big-hearted, personable horse with a lot to offer the right rider. Not a beginner’s horse, but a good fit for an intermediate rider looking for a substantial, forward-moving gelding with a willing attitude and plenty of personality.
