Stella is a stunning 6-year-old buckskin mare standing 14.3 hh. She turns heads wherever she goes — whether out on the trail or in the arena — with her big hip, eye-catching dapples, and the perfect size for any rider.
This mare is gentle, quiet-minded, and a pleasure to be around. She loves being groomed, stands well for the farrier, and has an easygoing, steady way of going.
Stella has been used for all kinds of ranch work: checking fences, doctoring sick cattle, pasture roping, sorting, and loading trucks. She’s also been on overnight camping trips and hauled all over for trail rides — she’s seasoned, solid, and broke the right way.
In the arena, Stella has a slow, smooth walk, jog, and lope. She takes both leads with ease, has nice lope departures, and circles up beautifully. She stops off your seat with just a soft “whoa.” She’ll side-pass to open and close gates, go through obstacles, push the ball, and can even be ridden bridleless.
Out on the trails, she’s as dependable as they come — she’ll lead, follow, or ride anywhere you point her. She’s traffic-safe, stands tied quietly, loads and unloads with ease, and is fine using a mounting block.
