Schweren Herzens habe ich mich dazu entschieden, meinen 15-jährigen Wallach Arlo zu verkaufen. Diese Entscheidung ist mir alles andere als leicht gefallen und ist leider durch veränderte Lebensumstände entstanden. Umso wichtiger ist es mir, dass Arlo in ein Zuhause kommt, in dem er wertgeschätzt wird und die Aufmerksamkeit bekommt, die er verdient. Arlo ist ein sehr menschenbezogenes und sensibles Pferd, das gefallen möchte und eine enge Bindung zu seinem Menschen aufbaut. Er testet hin und wieder seine Grenzen, ist aber mit klarer, ruhiger Führung ein absolut verlässlicher Partner. Ausbildungstechnisch befindet er sich auf A-/L-Niveau. Ursprünglich wurde er als Springpferd gearbeitet, zeigt jedoch auch in der Dressur viel Potenzial und läuft mit einem korrekten Reiter sehr schön. Er bemüht sich stets und möchte alles richtig machen. Im Gelände war Arlo früher sehr brav, auch ohne Sattel. Doch durch weniger Routine in den letzten Jahren ist er aktuell etwas schreckhafter geworden. Aufgrund einer Diagnose (Chip/Knochenthematik) darf Arlo nicht mehr springen. Er ist jedoch voll reitbar und ansonsten gesundheitlich unauffällig. Im Umgang ist er brav, testet aber auch hier manchmal seine Grenzen. Daher wünsche ich mir für ihn einen erfahrenen, einfühlsamen Menschen. In der Herde zeigt er sich eher dominant. Aktuell steht er in einer Paddockbox mit täglichem Auslauf und sollte auch in Zukunft unbedingt Weidegang bekommen. Eine reine Boxenhaltung oder Einzelhaltung kommt für mich nicht infrage. Ich suche für Arlo ein liebevolles Zuhause bei jemandem, der Freude an der Arbeit mit dem Pferd hat – sei es in der Dressur, bei Ausritten oder durch abwechslungsreiche Beschäftigung. Platz geht für mich absolut vor Preis!!! Damit Arlo gut in seinem neuen Zuhause ankommen kann, gebe ich sein gesamtes Zubehör (von der Gerte bis zum Sattel) bei Bedarf gerne mit. 📩Bei ernsthaftem Interesse freue ich mich sehr über eine Nachricht.
With a heavy heart, I have decided to sell my 15-year-old gelding, Arlo. This decision was not easy for me and was made solely due to changing life circumstances. It is therefore all the more important to me that Arlo finds a new home where he is appreciated and receives the attention he deserves. Arlo is a very affectionate and sensitive horse who enjoys human company and forms a close bond with his handler. He occasionally tests his boundaries but is an absolutely reliable partner when guided clearly and calmly. In terms of training, he is at an A-/L-level. Originally, he was trained as a show jumper, but he also shows great potential in dressage and moves beautifully with a correct rider. He always tries his best and wants to do everything right. In the field, Arlo used to be very well-behaved, even without a saddle. However, due to less routine in recent years, he has become somewhat more spooky. Due to a diagnosis (chip/bone issues), Arlo is no longer allowed to jump. Nevertheless, he is fully rideable and otherwise in good health. He is well-behaved in handling but sometimes tests his limits here as well. Therefore, I am looking for an experienced, empathetic person for him. In the herd, he tends to be somewhat dominant. Currently, he is kept in a paddock box with daily turnout and should continue to have access to pasture in the future. I do not consider a stall-only or solitary keeping suitable for him. I am seeking a loving home for Arlo with someone who enjoys working with horses—whether in dressage, hacking, or through varied activities. The well-being of the horse takes priority over price! Con grande rammarico ho deciso di mettere in vendita il mio stallone di 15 anni, Arlo. Questa decisione non è affatto facile e è stata presa a causa di cambiamenti nelle mie circostanze di vita. Per questo motivo, è per me fondamentale che Arlo trovi una nuova casa in cui venga apprezzato e riceva l’attenzione che merita. Arlo è un cavallo molto socievole e sensibile, che desidera piacere e crea un forte legame con il suo umano. Talvolta mette alla prova i suoi limiti, ma con una guida ferma e tranquilla è un partner assolutamente affidabile. A livello di formazione si trova su livello A-/L. Originariamente è stato lavorato come cavallo da salto, ma mostra anche nel dressage molto potenziale e si muove molto bene con un cavaliere competente. Si impegna sempre e desidera fare tutto nel modo giusto. In passato, Arlo era molto tranquillo anche senza sella in passeggiata in campagna. Tuttavia, a causa di una diminuzione della routine negli ultimi anni, attualmente è un po’ più timoroso. A causa di una diagnosi (problemi di chip e ossa), non può più saltare. Tuttavia, è completamente rittabile e in buona salute, senza altri problemi evidenti. Nel rapporto con le persone si comporta bene, anche se talvolta prova a mettere alla prova i limiti. Per questo, cerco per lui una persona esperta e sensibile. In gruppo si mostra piuttosto dominante. Attualmente vive in paddock box con uscita quotidiana e dovrebbe continuare a ricevere il pascolo. Per me, una gestione esclusivamente in box o in stalla singola non è accettabile. Cerco per Arlo una famiglia amorevole, con qualcuno che abbia piacere a lavorare con il cavallo – sia in dressage, durante le uscite o con attività varie e stimolanti. La priorità per me è il benessere di Arlo, anche rispetto al prezzo! Per facilitarne il nuovo inizio, sono disposto a consegnare anche tutto il suo equipaggiamento (da frusta a sella), se necessario. 📩 Per interessati seriamente, sarei felice di ricevere un messaggio.
