Vanessa VA is a Bezirksprämie mare by Cassini I out of the Staatsprämie mare Vanessa III by Landgraf I, who competed at 1.45m level. 

Granddam
Vanessa III competed at 1.45m level herself and produced, among others, the 1.40m stallions Calato and Calandro. This Holsteiner dam line has also produced several international showjumpers.
