Special Colestus son with a lot of scope and technique

Spike PH is an impressive grey gelding with size. He makes a scopy overall impression and looks very complete in everything he shows. He is quick off the ground, careful and jumps with a good and confident style. He appears to have unlimited scope, combined with light-footedness and a big, balanced canter. Despite his big canter, he is able to jump back easily from the fence, which gives a lot of confidence for future sport. In movement he is exceptionally loose through his body and shows outstanding balance and suppleness.

At the auction day, he had only been lightly lunged and was not yet saddle broken. The seller plans to start backing him this or next week and has full confidence in this process due to his cooperative and willing character. There may be an additional video available soon. The breeder deliberately chose a calm and patient upbringing, allowing him to develop physically without pressure. Now that he is approaching his fourth year, it is the right moment to introduce him further to the work. Everything he shows so far confirms that this is a horse with very high sporting expectations.

Sire Colestus competed himself at 1.60 m Grand Prix level, achieving podium finishes in CSI5* Grand Prix events in Paris, Shanghai and Dortmund. As a sire, he produced several international performers such as Colestina H (1.60 m), Colmar (1.60 m) and Colettus Cambridge (1.65 m), and is known for passing on scope, reflexes and a modern jumping style.

The damline is deep and widely proven in both showjumping and dressage. Dam Infinity is by Elvis Ter Putte, himself successful at 1.60 m level and a highly respected sire. This damline produced multiple sport horses competing at 1.40 m and higher, including Goldika (1.50 m), Elrino (1.45 m), Kontiki (1.40 m), Kensington (1.40 m) and No Mercy PH (1.40 m). Further down the line, the family shows an exceptional number of international results in both jumping and dressage, underlining its durability and quality
