Easy-to-ride gelding from the lineage of Casall

Opportunity GPH lives up to his name. This six-year-old gelding is a nice opportunity for an ambitious rider who wants to enjoy both jumping and dressage, as well as recreational riding. He has experience at 90 cm level and is pleasant to ride in dressage.

He has good balance in his movement and works well in the dressage work, but he still has things to learn in the jumping. During his training he was ridden by a slightly inexperienced rider, so he now needs someone who rides with enough leg and clearly keeps him between leg and hand towards the jump.

Opportunity is not suitable for a beginning jumping rider, but he is suitable for a beginner who finds dressage and recreational riding more important than showjumping. If you are a more experienced jumping rider looking for a fun project, he is an ideal match. In dressage and in handling he is easy and has a nice character. Over the jump he can sometimes be a bit cheeky, nothing more.

His sire, Quabri de L’Isle, ranks among the best-performing Kannan offspring worldwide. A cornerstone of the Brazilian showjumping team, he was an Olympic finalist in Rio de Janeiro with Pedro Veniss and won team gold at the 2019 Pan American Games.

The dam, Blenchi-A, is an Elite mare by the Grand Prix stallion Emilion and has already produced several 1.30m/1.35m horses. The granddam, Dessie, produced a 1.50m showjumper and is also the granddam of Brent, Tim Lips’ eventing star. Additionally, the great-granddam Maltia is the granddam of the world-class stallion Casall.
