Momenteel is hij L1 geklasseerd, kent oefeningen als schouderbinnenwaarts, travers, achterwaarts. Nicky is in 2021 röntgenologisch goedgekeurd voor de sport met 1 opmerking. Hij heeft een stalgebrek, hij zuigt lucht, buiten doet hij dit niet. Hij is braaf op de trailer en bij de smid. Op vreemd terrein is hij ook braaf, alleen heeft hij daar soms nog wel wat meer begeleiding bij nodig. Hierom vind ik hem niet geschikt voor een onervaren ruiter. Hij lijkt mij wel enorm geschikt als overgang van pony naar paard voor een ambitieuze ruiter. Aan de hand wandelt hij braaf achter je aan en hij is rustig in de omgang. Hij schrikt niet snel, en als hij schrikt vloeit het snel weer af. Hij is altijd regelmatig geënt, ontwormd, bekapt en gaat minstens 1x per jaar naar de tandarts en fysio.
