This colt was bred from a distinguished Hanoverian performance family. His dam Can Jump has already produced the international 1.35/1.40m showjumper Papillon Blue and is herself a half-sister to more than twelve international showjumpers, including the 1.50/1.60m performers Capilot, Chapilot and Curly Sue 163. Granddam Peggy Sue is the foundation mare behind 1.55/1.60m horses such as Chatinue, Bobby Brown 40, Cannavaro 17 and the WEG competitor Chactino.

The late Chacoon Blue was well on his way to following in the footsteps of his sire Chacco Blue as an outstanding breeding stallion. His oldest offspring are now making their mark at 1.50/1.60m level, including Chatadel PS, Chactensky PS, Chucky PS and Billy Fern.
